The Currys Trade Union is proud to announce that we are actively working with the employers’ health and safety professionals to support the formation of a National Health and Safety Committee. With the multifaceted nature of the employer, it is critical that we have a comprehensive approach to health and safety that covers all aspects of the organisation.
We believe that the formation of this committee will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all members and colleagues. By working closely with the employer and their health and safety professionals, we can develop effective policies and procedures that will minimize risks and promote a safer work environment.
We recognise the importance of collaboration in addressing the challenges of health and safety in the workplace. As such, we are committed to working with the employer to develop a comprehensive plan that considers the diverse needs of our members and colleagues.
In addition to our health and safety initiatives, we are also excited to announce our commitment to reducing the carbon footprint through the introduction of an all-electric fleet. We believe that this is a critical step in promoting green initiatives and protecting the environment.
